For this item song (original), Zee TV did a complete nationwide audition for the item girl where thousands of girls auditioned to be selected for this song. Koena was selected and here's the result.

These are ma fav music videos. Thankyou for bringing the original version. I suggest you to watch the making of the remake, Nora had so many injuries on her knees, n esp the fire gears she danced weighed so much, so hardworking n we get to see how she made it look beautiful. 🤷

Dont kno if anyones recommended this yet but you should see ram charans first film chirutha songs. He had the industries biggest debut and knocked it out of the park from the beginning in those songs. Yamaho yama i feel is one of the best choreographed and shot debut songs for a star kid. That whole album is a classic now.

The original song would have been just as iconic even without the video. That's how loved the audio of the song is. Sung by Legend Sunidhi Chauhan, The lyrics are like a back and forth argument between the two singers taunting each other. I think the original was more problematic with the way women where depicted and felt like a dish for a man to eat. In the new version the woman stands alone and draws the man to her verses the other way around. In terms of music original was stronger.

I actually feel like a lot of these remakes would be much better if they used Sonu Kakkar (Neha Kakkars sister) instead of Neha... She has a similar voice texture but shes an excellent vocalist and well trained. Neha is more popular because of her social media following and personality, so its understandable... but her vocals just always fall flat for me.

Original will always be better... A specific reason for this opinion is the depth of the lyrics between both versions.. original is soulful and meaningful lyrics and music wise too...
