We have always been in love with voice of Sniti Mishra, judged as "Most remarkable voice of the year" on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, as an unique voice. Over the years, she has enthralled us with her unique renditions of Sufi, Traditional, Thumri, Retro, Regional, Fusion style of singing!
In this LivDemy Live-at-Studio concert, Sniti digs deep into her love for Sufi music, from the legends like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan to Shafqat Amanat Ali and more. She presents this unique concert along with some of the finest musicians from the industry.
We have Zuber Hussain Warsi, son of the legendary Harmonium player, Akhlaq Hussain, on Tabla, Bhawani Malviya, the wild keyboard player, who plays anything from Ghazal to Jamiroquai (Funk and Jazz), and Vicky Sharma on Drums.

I will be honest here. Ever since we heard you sing "Jaen to Jaen kahan" and the early songs, we thought here is a great new singing soul. But this so-called sufi singing and this composition here is meaningless and without any musical sweetness. It is a distortion of your very gifted singing voice. You must get back to the simple melodies which came as a result of the guidance engrained in our classical music and ragas. Just sing old songs from the films of 50s and 60s and even 70s. No need for any jazzy accompaniment of keyboards and Western drums etc. Don't be misled by people shaking their heads in awe of this kind of 'music'. Wishing you the best.
