We've similar food in Maharashtra called Ghaavane or Amboli in the Kokan area. We soak rice overnight, grind it, and make a little thin watery puree, put a little salt, and throw in a pan without oil. And surprisingly we also have it with black tea. We also have a special pan for it which is always rare to find generally.

This dish is also made in Himachal we call it enkali but it literally doesn't have any spices in it we just have water and rice flour we have it with milk and also with any sbzi

It's often used to flavor lamb and lentil dishes, or dishes with a rich, deep sauce. Sunrise Kashmiri cuisine is a unique and inseparable part of Kashmiri culture. It can include seven to 36 dishes made from mutton or beef, chicken, fruits, and vegetables. Some important ethnic meat products of Kashmiri cuisine include: Kabab, Tabak maaz, Aab gosh, Rogan josh, Nate-yakhni, Rista, Goshtaba.
