Sabüi is committed to using the power of video to tell the stories of the modern-day torch bearers of West-African music. Originally shot in January 2018, we traveled to Senegal with VT-based musician Assane Coly, to reunite with childhood bandmates, mentors, + friends. On 12/16/18 through 1/8/2019, we return to Dakar to deliver the footage, follow up, continue filming for the 35 minute series, and release an album in 2019. If our goal is reached, over 50% of these funds will go direct to the artists.
