I know nobody cares but I feel like sharing why this song has come to mean a lot to me. I’ve fist-fought for fun, for pride, and for my life. I’ve nearly fist-fought my own father and I’ve argued bitterly and angrily with almost everyone in my life. I used to have really bad anger issues. Sometimes when I was angry I would punch trees or walls over and over until my knuckles broke. I’ve broken almost every bone in my hands at least once. Somehow, this song finds a way to put into words how it feels to be mentally damaged from fights and arguments and just conflict in general. I’m not someone who cries very easily. Not because I’m a man and I don’t think that’s okay, I just personally don’t shed tears often. First time I heard this damn song, I ugly cried quietly, alone in my room. Like I said, I doubt anyone cares, but I felt like sharing.
