Although I really like the original song with Joakim's harsh voice, this is something completely different. My mind came up with the image of Valkyries riding into the battle alongside the soldiers.

Its good, can't complain, but I still prefer Joakim's voice, just because when I think of D-Day, I think of a grizzled sounding soldier. The high pitched works for some, but not all.

Agree completely. Technically this is good vocal work, and the other covers are amazing, but this one doesn't seem to "fit". Sometimes when you take a song and fundamentally change the vocals, it sounds great (like Alina's March of Mephisto cover). This one doesn't work IMO.

I am amused that she says "Plimo Victolia" instead of "Primo Victoria". This was surprisingly pleasant - it's actually easier to understand the lyrics than the original version. I am looking forward to further Sabaton covers in the future now that I've found this channel from the Bismarck cover recommendation, leading me to also find this song here.

Shes Eastern European their languages are difficult . Shes made the effort to sing in English , wich as different consonant sounds to many in Eastern Europe. Just rejoice that she made a good effort in singing very well in English
