@@plebisMaximus they held the pass long enough for the athenians and the rest of the coalition to hold at artemisium, which halted the persian advance until the decisive battles at plataea and salamis were won for the greeks, stopping the persians in their tracks and saving greece and so the rest of europe from persia.

And level 69 attack speed when the spear is broken/thrown can be retrieved and with a amazing level 100 rage whenever the character is 35% below it's health the character gets all of it's stats a 40 percent boost

The Spartans were extremely savage and strong warriors of Sparta, and they got attacked by Persia. It was 300 Spartans vs around 40,000 Persians. Eventually Sparta was overrun, but they put up such a massive fight that they got themselves a nice big spot in the history book. Impressive indeed.

the numbers were varied. 40k is a major lowball. It was anywhere from 35k to 140k (EXTREME highball)
