Bonus history facts: The head General that created the group was one of the few generals that had many wins under his belt. Now the interesting piece of information was that 85% of the surviving members were Jewish including the General. The Storm troopers were the biggest inspiration for Himmler to create the SS. Hitler could not understand why he metaphorically kept shooting himself in the foot. When the Nazis took power half of the surviving members let Germany and went to mostly America but some went to the UK or France. The members that stay either were killed during the Holocaust or join resistant movements. 5 members actually joined and help trained the SS until 1940. The main face of the storm trooper was used for Nazi propaganda for 2 years until they found out the guy was Jewish. One of the interesting tactics the Storm Troopers use was to use a sub machine gun as their primary and a semi automatic rifle as their secondary and a third gun as the side arm. The Nazis would not use this tactic until 1944 when the STG-44 really enter service.

Erwin Rommel was a highly successful stormtrooper as well. It's why he was so successful in 1940 during the invasion of France and why when the broke through Belgium it meant so much to him. He had broken through the magnot line, something the entire German army couldnt accomplish just a couple decades before
