Idk why but when i hear so many people join in and are so enthusiastic and happy to sing the song with the band, it really makes me happy. I think it's because swedes are generally so secluded and don't like to be too patriotic that I get overwhelmed when swedes do this all of a sudden. It makes me happy.

@@normalcat__ Fan vet, 2011 blev det avslag för det. "Riksdagen tillkännager för regeringen som sin mening vad som anförs i motionen om att officiellt anta Du gamla, du fria som Sveriges nationalsång. Behandlas i Utskottets förslag Avslag Kammarens beslut Avslag"

@@normalcat__ I'm not sure. In 2011 it was denied when S tried to make it so. "Riksdagen tillkännager för regeringen som sin mening vad som anförs i motionen om att officiellt anta Du gamla, du fria som Sveriges nationalsång." Behandlas i Utskottets förslag : Avslag Kammarens beslut : Avslag
