I'm just realizing that the conductor is wearing a Sabaton shirt. "We'll sing this song!" "Isn't this a metal song?" "Yes, but you can do it." "...that's not very chor-like." "But it's about a swedish king!" "I am not convinc-" "SING THE GODDAMN SONG!"

@@hylianxbox6586 haha Carolus Rex (Charles XII of Sweden) wasn't a perfect example of a democrat either. Actually, the song is already telling his craving for power 🙂 A wonderful performance, nevertheless 😇

@General of Chaos Although I appreciate the sentiment, the great thing about the Catholic Church is that even when the choir sounds like old cats and the homily is more than nap-worthy....you still have an audience with Christus Pantokrator. Guaranteed. But for the rest of you heretics, yeah...I'd probably just follow the music. ; )

He would be more proud if you got your leg shot off trying to storm a Russian fort. it's actually hypothesized that he had a genetic condition that made him feel no pain. He got shot betwheen his toes ( big toe and the one next to it) and it went through his foot and out his heel. He kept fighting and moving like it was nothing. So it has been hypothesized that he had "Congenital insensitivity to pain" He wanted to fight at Narva but had to be stopped by the people around him.

yes, as norwegian i can perfectly speak swedish and watch swedish movies natural. for instance every norwegian has grown up with this swedish movie Emil i Løneberga, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jLmUjd2jz52okmQ.html swedish and danish culture is deply rooted in Norway and Norway is stil a young nation it was in 1905 we gained independence from the swedish empire. before that Norway had been 400 years under danish rule, it was when we lost the war we ended in Sweden beacuse Denmark-Norway was allied with the French emperor Napoleon-Bonaparte. Scandinavians are germanic peoples so of course we understand what Deutschland uber alles means.
