You absolutely can under those circumstances❤️ Matthew 12:10-12 [10] And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? That they might accuse him. [11] And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? [12] How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

Shalom family of the Most High Yahuah and His one and only Beloved Son Yahshua 🙂 There is much discussion and even debates about the Sabbath but the word is very clear. The Sabbath is the 7th day of the week, not the first day, which was changed by those who run this world. I was in church for over 23 years and they never spoke or taught anything about the Sabbath; however, in 2020 as I was reading Scripture, my spirit was quickened that I should be keeping the Sabbath. I shared this revelation with people I knew who are close the Yah and they rejected this truth and said they would pick their own day to rest. As the Messiah said, it is good to do good on the Sabbath, which was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. I keep Saturday as did our ancestors, the original and true Israelites. However, I'm not legalistic about it because we are under the grace of the Most High but I do dedicate it for spending time with my Heavenly Father and listening to awake Hebrew Israelite ministers, who are filled with the Holy Spirit in spirit and in truth. So if an emergency arrives and you need to go to the store and buy something, you will not lose your salvation nor will Yah punish you because His grace is sufficient to cover you in all things. I believe Yah blesses those who diligently seek Him and who obey Him. It's so good to see so many keep Yah's law/commandments. Be blessed and stay encouraged because our redemption is near. HalleluYAH!

@@eladsinger9215 …. I draw near to Yah in prayer and daily reading and studying His word, the Scriptures. I have read the whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation and each time I read it again, the Holy Spirit reveals more understanding to me. This year 2024 I am studying by precept upon precept, here a little and there a little, which means I finding various Scriptures (in both the Old and New Testament) that are related for full understanding and this method has really been fruitful. I don’t fully understand all things but I’ve learned more in these last four years than I did in 23 years of going to church. I have come out of the church institutions, where men are taught by seminaries and not by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, they lead our people astray and away from the commandments that are everlasting, for they are life to the glory of Yahweh. May peace and wisdom and understanding be upon you🙏🏾

Yeah, to sum up this message, Sabbaths are 24-hour holy gatherings to cease from every single worldly distraction (not meaning taking care of children), to pray, praise, dance, celebrate, and magnify God until the Glory literally appears. Great message, traveling far on Sabbaths is forbidden, so if beyond walking distance, everyone needs to drive before evening on Sabbaths to holy gathering locations. Sleep in vehicles if necessary, we do at camp retreat locations, with propet sleeping quarters, and showers, and baptism pool for daily cleansing.

If someone can demonstrate that Saturday aligns with the biblical Sabbath, I am willing to offer a reward of $5,000. From my understanding, the Sabbath should be independent of the Gregorian calendar. The designation of Saturday dates back to 321 AD under Emperor Constantine, and thus it does not originate from the Creation. While the concept of a seven-day cycle is indeed from the Creator, it doesn't necessarily correspond to what we now call Saturday.

Shalom my dear sister. I discovered your channel, yesterday evening, and I subscribed. I'm excited to be here. Thank you so much for this lesson, I learned something that I had never considered before, all praises to The Most High. I wanted to share some thoughts concerning the use of a microwave to reheat food on the Sabbath -- not trying to sway you, or anyone. Imho, the use of electricity is not the same as literally kindling a fire, although electricity can cause or ignite fire. We use lights, heating and air (electricity) in our homes on the Sabbath, and a refrigerator, which operates, continually, by electricity. Some of us also use computers and/or TVs to assemble, virtually via livestream, due to having no place to assemble, locally. Therefore, what's the difference between those things operating on the Sabbath and the use of a microwave to reheat food quickly (less than 5 minutes) on the Sabbath? 🙂Just a thought. However, to each their own, as we are working out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Much love, peace, and blessings. Have a good evening.
@scriptureswithsusanna6 ай бұрын
Good question as I also used a microwave as well when I first began to observe the Sabbath. Then I ran across an elder teaching on the topic and was edified about the use of the microwave so my husband and I stopped. We look at it this way, if the item can boil water then it’s essentially kindling your food since it makes it hot. Yahawa is not going to use modern terms in ancient writings so it’s up to use to discern what it might mean in this current time. He covers it by saying don’t kindle a fire which is heating up food. I suggest to not use it as it comes off like cutting corners, you know. The last thing you want is for this to be held against you on judgement day cause you leaned on your own understanding. Err on the side of caution just to be safe 😊 And welcome to the family! I pray that you’re edified through the Spirit 🙌🏾
@dogood17856 ай бұрын
@@scriptureswithsusanna Shalom sis, thank you!😊 I was edified, praises to The Most High 🙌🏾. I truly appreciate your videos, and I'm so glad I discovered your channel. I respect you and your husband's decision to not use a microwave on the Sabbath. I see what you are saying, it can also cook food. Looking at scripture, YAH tells us in Exodus 35:3, Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day. Keeping the Word in proper context, He means, starting an actual fire; He is clearly stating - you shall start no fire throughout your habitations on the sabbath day; that's not limited to cooking. Starting a fire is quite labor-intensive, which entails chopping and gathering wood, to build and start the fire. In the wilderness, there was a man found gathering sticks (wood) on the sabbath day, who was stoned to death (Numbers 15:32-36). In the ancient days, I believe they used fire for more purposes than cooking - remember the molten calf? Gold was used in the temple, when Solomon built the Temple. How would they have melted down gold? Work was involved. Today, people build fires for various purposes, as well. For example, to burn things, such as waste in landfills, although I don’t think it’s done here in the US, as much; to cremate, moreover the slash and burn method of agriculture comes to mind, which are all forms of work. Nevertheless, it’s an individual choice. I try not to lean unto my own understanding. I’m so thankful that The Most High is merciful, full of compassion and grace, and that He gives us wisdom, and understanding of His Word, also for His Holy Spirit. He leads and guides us into all truth. YAH will never let His children be deceived, He is our Light and Salvation. Much love, peace, and blessings 😊

Hey I just found your channel. I love your delivery. I have heard mixed views on Intercourse. I thought we are serving God by being fruitful and multiplying as per scripture. I however do get it would be prohibited if people were to go out and seek pleasure solely to please their own flesh. What are your thoughts of the commandment of "be fruitful and multiply" on the sabbath?
@scriptureswithsusanna8 ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind words and welcome to the channel! I hope that it’s edifying to you. Yah definitely says that we should be fruitful and multiply however we don’t have it do the act on His High Holy Day. We have 6 other days to be intimate. We are to keep that one day holy.

@patriciaellen27944 ай бұрын
Thanks. Fantastic ideas for the Sabbath. I just have a concern. We live in a very cold environment and rely on wood heat. We gather the wood ahead of time. Need to keep the stove going on cold days. Unfortunately some nights we don’t wake up soon enough to keep the stove going. So have to start or kindle the fire to keep it going. This can be so controversial these days. What constitutes kindle? Hard to rest and relax knowing that the heat might be gone if we don’t wake up in time. Having an automatic furnace is easier. But we don’t anymore. I’m sure they didn’t back in bible days. Lol but Jerusalem winter is not as harsh as some countries. Thoughts?

The “selling” portion is what I get caught up on. I have a brick & mortar and online store. Of course, I am now going to start closing on Saturdays, but it is my online store that is 24/7 and I do not have access to shut it down for a short period of time and then turn it back on. Any advice?

Shalawam sis - maybe you can look for a feature that places your online store on like a vacation status. I know Etsy does that. If not, you might be able to do a quick Google search on how to stall an online store for a temporary period of time.
@steveleung85510 күн бұрын
Hello Susanna, @ 3:00 you said that The Weekly Sabbath Day is from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown, first of all there is a difference between a Sabbath and a Sabbath Day, a Sabbath can be any length of time because it is a rest, for example the Sabbath of The Land where that Sabbath is 1 year, now secondly there is nowhere and I repeat nowhere in The Bible where a Sabbath Day is evening to evening, if you can find it please provide The Scripture, also The Bible says that Light is Day and Darkness is Night, it also says that the greater light which is the sun rules the day, so if you are correct we should be able to see the sun at night, so please update your data on this, and blessings for your head covering.

Hi there. The term cooking could refer to many things I assume? people cook things up on the computer all the time? I'm new to this but i would assume electronics would be a don't on sabbath?. As far as i can tell, all electronics produce heat, the computer chip is small but produces a large amount of heat for its size. In the chip, Transistors act as mini electrical switches that produce electrical current. Fans are often used to cool them down. For the most part. all modern day electronics use computer chips. I think its very possible that on a very small scale they are probably very similar to fire. I'm thinking in are times this might be fairly important. I have to try it myself now though, like i said Im new to this. Any ways have a good day.

I enjoyed your video but I have a sincere question. If we can't kindle a fire on the sabbath, how can we burn frankincense and myrrh incense during that time? If you have scripture that would be helpful and appreciated.
@scriptureswithsusanna11 ай бұрын
Shalawam sis! When the law states that you can’t kindle a fire it is only referring to cooking. Exodus 35:2-3 goes into a bit more detail as verse 2 says whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death; so cooking would be considered doing work. Frankincense is considered a holy item to burn as it was used in the temple pertaining to Exo 30 and Lev 2.

Shalawam sis! That is a tough spot to be in. Continue to obey your parents BUT I would suggest repenting each and every time. And try to talk to them (in a humble, respectful but serious tone) about how important it is for you to make this change. And how much you would greatly appreciate their support in your walk to be a better person and a more holy, spiritual person. I would also pray before that talk and ask Yah to speak through you and to fill you with the Holy Spirit, while also asking for Him to open their hearts up to receive the message. I hope this helps 😘

Shalawam sis! We all should follow our heads, which are our husbands; so if your King says to not use a blender, then please follow his instructions. My King thinks it’s ok because it’s not kindling a fire; so I’m following his instructions. The spirit leads us all, so if the spirit is leading your husband to not use a blender, I suggest that you don’t :) If it changes in the future it will be from the spirit helping him to grow in his understanding. We have changed many things and fine tuned things (like using a microwave on Sabbath, to not using one) as we grew in the truth. And Yah will do the same for you two as well 😘

One thing I will disagree with. In the Bible it describes a day as (morning, evening). The correct sabbath is Saturday sunrise to Saturday sunset. God created light and saw it was good. And called it “Day”. Evening and morning was the first Day! Meaning it was from Sunrise to Sunset because that’s when the sky was lit with the light god created. When it was darkness he called it night. We got this confused in these times.
@blaquebeauty00710 ай бұрын
Genesis 1:5 in all translations that i've seen states And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. Even in subsequent verses it specifically states evening to morning makes the day not morning to evening. Be blessed.
@Leonard_Washington7610 ай бұрын
@@blaquebeauty007 evening and morning are the first 12hrs. We took gods natural order of days and conform to the pagan ways of identifying what’s consider a day(24hours) which is 12hours of day and 12hours of night where we get our 24hrs”a day”. God identify days as morning, and evening when the sun is out. Hints the “first day”. While night is strictly darkness. From my idea of what the book is saying it’s not a new day until the sun appears in the sky. When god said let there be light god at that time created morning is what I interpret. When we get deeper into the sabbath where god said nor cattle should do no work. Cattle only do work during the day. This further have me believe that the sabbath is from morning to night. I say this because why would god instruct us to make sure cattle don’t do work during the times where work isn’t done. I think it’s the clues of when the animals are instructed to not do no work is where it solidifies exact what’s consider a day. In the history of man our animals never do any work during the night hours.

Shalom agree ....John 11:9 YAHUSHA said 12 hours in the day ,the only 2 Shabbaths kept evening to evening is in Leviticus 23 Pesach/passover and Day of atonement is specific for evening also, Ezekiel 46:1-2 proves the inner courts was closed 6 days , then opened 7th day for shabbath and then CLOSED in the evening meaning shabbath had ended ,I use to be confused with evening to evening unfortunately those Rev 2:9/Rev 3:9 frauds made the 24 hour tradition up shalom mIshpacha

@@TallieMarc Leviticus Chapter 23 verse 3. This is where I’m getting my information from my brother. I took note with it specifically saying “Day”. In the book of Genesis God tells us that when the sun is out he considers it as day. God word doesn’t tell us that a 24hr period he considers as a day. The 24 hours period time frame I believe if I’m not mistaken came from the Babylons. During the evening which is 5pm-7pm(in some cases) this is evening in which the sun is still out and before darkness (night) starts. ”“Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places.“ Leviticus 23:3 ESV ”And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.“ Genesis 1:4-5 ESV
