Higher Education, Science and Innovation Minister, Dr. Blade Nzimande says he has hopes the country's first- nuclear medicine research facility will produce groundbreaking research in the fight against cancer and other priority diseases. Nzimande launched the Nuclear Medicine Research Infrastructure (NUMERI) at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria today.
