My hero. I respect this man. Went to school in Zambia during the liberation struggle. As a forigner I was given an opportunity to go to a boarding school. Everything was paid for by the Zambian government from Form 1 to Form 5. Only had to look for scholarship at college. Thank you KK I salute you as an individual.

Hello to all my friends in Zambia. First of all my heart felt condolences on the passing on of your beloved Dr. Kennith Kaunda. I was in Zambia in the year 2008-2009, when I had the honor of meeting with the late President at the home of Tima and Mkuzo Kuawani. I remember very fondly his very distinct handshake when he would cover both our hands with a white cloth, which I interpreted as the handshake meant peace, goodwill and an everlasting friendship. RIP Sir.

These are the heros of our continent were passionate to see Africans leaving a better life than our current leaders who seems to fight for their own stomachs full of selfish ness

We will forever be indebted to these principled leaders as KK. We owe a great deal of debt to the Zambians for their hand in helping us with our struggle. Today their loss is felt and deep in our hearts.

Many South African next generation don't know about this that is why it must be written in South African history textbooks

It is sad that we get to know of this now. in 2019 I visited zambia and i was very shocked when i noticed the street name called thabo mbeki. is only then that someone in zambia told me the history and even finished by saying " we are very shocked with the behavior of you guys in S.A, when it comes to xenophobic attacks"
