At the heart of the public's expectations is the formation of a government that will bring solutions to unite the country, eradicate social ills, deal with unemployment, and make South Africa a functional and capable state with a thriving economy.
Our two guests joining us virtually today bring the voice of trade unions into the discussions, and those are the General Secretary of the South African Federation of Trade Unions (SAFTU), Zwelinzima Vavi, and Solidarity's Head of the Research Institute, Connie Mulder.

Leaders are more concerned about Power than about those that vote for them. Why is it so difficult to bring it qualified and capable ppl to the cabinet. 30 was more then enough time to do the right thing.

What does minimum wage even mean when you have over 40% UNEMPLOYMENT. You have failed as the ANC to create growth, your top leaders have been the biggest beneficiaries. This man is old and should retire.

What I can't understand is that these unions where there for the 30 3:47 years, they where there when companies employed illegal immigrants they where there they even partners with the biggest employer the government and worker's still lost their jobs, the even made a great favour to companies and illegal immigrants with the minimum wage because most of those minimum wage went to illegal immigrants and not to our people some employers where happy because now they can use cheap labour legally

What we need is infrastructure investment, we need about 1 trillion ZAR in infra development. This is how you chip away at that employment issue. We need to force a certain % of local funds to invest into the country infra bonds etc. Build btc mining rigs into your grid system so you can dump excess energy and print money from it.

The burning question is what did the ANC and its affiliates do with the trillions of taxes and donations received over 30 long years to implement the NDR? Even if they proceeded kancane kancane, South Africa would be a thriving, organic state today. The country and its people are dying a slow and painful death. Inequality, poverty and unemployment are the critical problems South Africa is facing. Therefore GNU should be focusing on above problems. Reversing the imbalances of the past requires more time and patience. People to find each other and work towards shared goals.

You don't seem to get it that people need jobs, not land. South Africa is only 3 % of Africas land mass. Which means that 97 % of Africa is in hands of black people. Do the maths and go figure out why South Africa is the most developed country in Africa and the largest food producer. . We must start thinking logically here. What I have said is the truth. Give people jobs, a home and services.
