A mirage is when you see something that not there

My interpretation: The ‘famous’ world is this seemingly perfect life and ‘everyone’ (the famous people) all act so innocent, so perfect, as though they’re gods, and she’s wondering if what they have, all of the fortune and fame is just some lie, or if it’s actually real. Its a good question, is it really so great to be famous? Imagine the stress. You so much as J-walk and you’re all over the Internet. And you have to be SO careful of whatever you say, because anyone can twist it around. Nobody’s ever on your side, even if you’re not famous, but if you are famous, you’re just a target. It’s probably bad that I see society as a dog-eat-dog world, but that’s just the way it is for me.

So basically I'm from Philippines and everytime I play this song in front of my friends and family they will always be like " hey what are you listening to " and I'm always like " it's a song by Sabrina Carpenter called Mirage" then they will be like " isn't that a car " and theirs me trying not get annoyed ( basically here in the Philippines we suck at English and all they know about Mirage is a Car Brand)
