in the Harry Potter universe, this would be counted as an extreme case of abnormally powerful accidental magic the department responsible for reversing catastrophes caused by accidental magic would have a field day, they would need to reverse the spell and memory wipe all the non-magical people

Yikes, early transfiguration spell that Sabrina have no control over. Yeah, if only the Witches' Realm have sent Sabrina's letter to study in Ilvermorny, or Hogwarts if they have teleporation closets instead of floo powder.
