I wouldn’t sack him. The team is organized. We need better midfielders and better midfield play. Our attackers need more final passes.

I don’t agree that the middle is that poor, before the second half of yesterdays match yes n the Canada game (second half), definitely but one thing was obvious in the two games; Jamaica plays better n more organized in a mid to high press as also when he allows the attacking players to express themselves(speed and quick press) so the coach should fix that aspect of the game and then he will have a productive team. In the second half we had a lot of play through the middle n won a lot of first n second ball in the middle. Yes we conceded from a counter attack, that part of it is what needs to be fixed in a mid or high press… My opinion

@@morricewillisNo we are not saying that the midfield is dat poor but needs to be tweaked a likkle for better coordinate play. But we need to play how we play in the second half on a regular basis.

If we sack Coach Grimmy, forget about 2026. I have seen the most organized and tactical Team In years. Jamaica does not have a CAM. When we press high occasionally, we can get away with it. We can not press all the time as our defensive mid is weak. Our wing-back Greg Leigh's side is weak and makes us liable. The coach wants to play 3-4-3 but can't, as he needs a good MF and better wing-backs. People are in denial about whether our midfield is comparable to any of the teams we have played in the COPA. Palmer is there because we don't have better. Reid would be coming off the bench if we had better; Latti is playing MF because we don't have better. The bottom line is that we are on the right path and need better players in our engine room. If we sack Grimmy, forget about recruiting Greenwood, Hutchinson, Nelson, Mitchell, McNeil, Gibbs-white, or similar Ayers, as they will see an unsteady ship sinking vs a steady ship with some patchable leaks.

I think he needs to trust the players he has, if you can trust them when you are losing to play good attacking football n remain defensively sound then you should trust them to play good attacking football when you need to win….🤷🏽‍♂️

He is doing a good job, even tho we lost against Mexico and Ecuador Jamaica is playing some great defensive ball games, he needs to work on their midfield and attack with more assertion, try to be more possessive with the ball, and be more clinical at their shots on goal. In the match against Mexico at halftime Jamaica had more shots on target and took more shots than Mexico, remember that Jamaica scored in that game as well, it's just that he was a bit offside not by much either. If that goal wasn't offside we would have drawn with Mexico. Sacking him right now would be immature, lack of vision, and would hurt our chance to qualify for the World Cup.

Only a lunatic would consider sacking the coach. Jamaica is narrowing the gaps with this coach. I did not expect us to win Copa. It would have been a bonus and lots cash to advance. The games are good to see where we are at and where we need to improve the team. Mario the coach is not negative your interpretation is not correct. Stop the dumbness. This is not Tru Juice level. Who are these people who on the corner telling you the coach should be sack?

The issue is the federation. We’ve had numerous couches over the years, German coaches, Brazilian coaches, Jamaican coaches, English coaches. Sane result. We’ve used players from England, players from Jamaica, etc. sane results. When Panama and other teams in the Copa were busy playing warm up games ahead of the tournament the JFF were doing nothing to get our players ready. This national team has no idea of what it feels like to play a home game to a sold out stadium simple because the JFF lacks marketing acumen. 20 years ago Jamaica were beating teams like Paraguay and Uruguay with their full squads to sold out games in the National Stadium. Thus JFF spend all its time beefing with the players, reggae girls 9 months disagreement, now the Leon Bailey saga

The Jamaican supporters don't realy know much about ⚽ some may know but a jump ship too early the only problem I have team selection calling players but not using them and if they do not in the right positions we should have had a penalty we got good results on goal cup and nations league world cup qualifies we have never done well in Copa America the players support the coach let's continue to support Rome never built in a day the team improving we are preparing for world cup let's continue to pray and support team here are my thoughts Anderson in midfield dixon and cepras to start or come on earlier we need some set play specialist gray for free kicks if we had ravel and Anderson in midfield we would be perfect need a next striker hope the coach calls clarke harris tell me which coach would have beat these teams unu a joke

Great players can overcome average to mediocre coaching. Good to average players will not overcome average to mediocre coaching. Look at a team like Panama. Which well established players do they have? Look at the way they play the game. In my opinion they have the best holding midfielder in CONCACAF. Panama is known for baseball. General let’s be real. The eye test is the ultimate test and this coach doesn’t pass it

You all were praising hallgrimson when he beat Panama the other day. We Jamaican fans are a joke, just like the JFF. Costa Rica played 11 defenders against Brazil and came away with a point…the Jamaica team that went to the World Cup was a solid defense first team, during that campaign we defended well and raked out 1-0 victories.
