Joanna! The displays were gorgeous!! I was drooling over yarn I wouldn't normally have looked at, just because of how perfectly it was displayed. Now I need to price up tickets to Portland in case the hubs is healthy enough that I could go. What fun and how lovely that it was so beautifully laid out and organized. Thanks for taking us along - I know it's a pain but it seems you made a good distinction between work and play time and made room for both. Awesome.

Thank you so much for showing off this festival. I live in Portland, found out about this a few days before it happened, and elected not to go due to the door fee. And then almost instantly regretted it. I hope to go next year. I'm grateful I got to check it out through your experience and walk through.

It was so fun watching you take us thru Sacred Sheep! I live a couple hours south of Portland so I will definitely plan on attending the festival next year and I hope to meet you in person if you attend again 🥰 You got some great goodies and made wonderful connections. OH MY GOSH, makes me miss my Oregon so much. We moved to Arkansas 2 1/2 years ago from Oregon. I haven’t been to a yarn store or fiber festival since. 😢😢😢

I'm glad you enjoyed that festival so much! I SO wanted to go as its only a 3 hour drive for me and I know Portland quite well. But I had a wedding that weekend and just couldn't. But its great that you went and reviewed it for us! I will see you there next year for sure. You purchased some really lovely things as well. How fun!

Great video of the Sacred Sheep Festival! I plan on going next year since I live in the area. You mentioned you are a musician. What instrument do you play, or are you a singer? I too am a musician. Both my parents were musicians and I love music!! You got some great items. That yarn is beautiful!!

Joanna…..watched between prepping for Thanksgiving…..it gave me a chance to think after a segment or two…..loved the pics of You knitting with your silver rings…..especially the one with the middle finger…perfect…..I love the confidence wearing a perfect middle finger ring brings to the working hands…..so much I could say…..but You did the city of Portland, Oregon justice as a destination and the field trips are just the best ways to share the love of this community….Happy Thanksgiving …..

This was such a lovely comprehensive travel vlog. I want to comment on everything, but I'll be brief. The vibe in the Starlight Knitting Society was great. The colours used to decorate the space plus the yarn selection makes me want to plan a trip to Portland NOW. The venue for the festival looks amazing. Based on the crowds you filmed just before it opened it looked like there were a lot of people in attendance. I hope that that all vendors were successful and will return for the next festival. 😉 Your acquisitions were beautiful and I cannot get that reflective tote bag out of my mind. Is there a link for it please?

Loving this, Joanna! Starlight is in my top three LYS. (Parking's tough, but worth it.) Your report on Sacred Sheep has me marking the calendar for 2024. What a Beautiful Venue! If it happens -- and if I knit through a whole lot of stash in the coming months -- I will be there.

What a great recap of Sacred Sheep and our city! It was a treat to say hello to you and I loved your interview with my sweet friend Fiona. We left the venue to eat at a Lebanese restaurant about 5 blocks away and we were able to walk right back in - no issues. I hope to see you next year!
