Sad Mac on my PowerBook 180

Actually there is nothing wrong with this vintage PB. If you press the "interrupt button"("programmer's key", or cmd+power combination key if you can't find a individual key) on a vintage Mac(with old world rom, 68k or nubus powerpc) during startup, your Mac will immediately crash.

You probably know this but it crashed because you don't have macsbug installed. The programmers key would dump the CPU registers and stack into macsbug so that the programmer could inspect it. Does your PB180 screen have the tunnel vision problem? If not, you have a very, very valuable machine.

Well my 180 does have the tunnel vision problem, so I swapped a PB160 screen to my 180. The STN screen is ugly but it solved the tunnel problem.

A sad Mac on Reboot is possible. 0000000F0000000D code means 'User-Activated Crash' and it is activated with 'Interrupt' key

Nah. Sad Mac occurs only on Boot, but BSOD can occur anytime. Also I think that bsod on startup in windows is the blue screen with the options, that happened to me several times when I tried to reinstall windows but my pc maybe had a virus that wasn’t letting windows reinstall. Then magically after a while the virus just erased itself and I could reinstall windows.

yeah, the code 0000000f 00000003 is a user-triggered interruption sad mac code. hit command+f on startup, and it'll appear
