My last day in Puerto Rico was a great but sad day. We visit the barrio Perchas 2 in San Sebastian where my grandparents used to live. The old house brought lots of memories. It survived Hurricane Maria intact. I show you some yucca plants, banana tree, gandules or pigeon peas, etc.
I fly my DJI Phantom 4 drone around the neighborhood made up of beautiful mountains. Then we return to Las Marias and I try Klim milk. Not my favorite but many people love it. Then my sister and I go downtown for a frappe. Lastly, I leave Las Marias and head on over to the airport for my flight back to Philadelphia.

I say so often on my channel. I do not care for fancy techniques or click bait on KZfaq. I like simple and real people when it comes to vlogs. But you are the exception and I mean that. Because you have the actual skill and talent to produce an amazing video and footage...and also the sincerity and good intention. I truly admire you.

I know it’s hard to leave paradise, I love the Island. From the beaches to the mountains to the little towns. Your aerial views add to showing the area from a birds eye view. It is incredible how much vacant land is in the Mountains. I love the houses that are at the top of the mountain with a view of the surroundings. To fall asleep to a tropical breeze is heaven sent. As quite as it’s kept I love the Isolated beaches. Safe flight home!!!

How beautiful the memories of our wonderfull parents and grandparents. How precious, I hope you can preserve such a wonder. Talking about your grandparents brings memories of mine. Puerto Rico and its people are so, so beautiful accompanied by its beautiful countryside and mountains. We haven't even touched the beaches. God bless Puerto Rico and its people!

La leche "Klim" yo la hago con agua bien caliente cuando la consigo y me encanta. No creo que me guste con el agua fría. Bonita casita! Fui a visitar la casa de mi abuelita en Caguanas de Utuado pero ya no existía. Algún día quiero ir a la chorra o el chorro donde cargábamos agua por unos riscos increíbles. Mi prima estaba acostumbrada y llegaba con la lata llena. Yo vivía en LARES,, iba de visita y cuando llegaba la lata estaba casi vacía y el agua toda en mi ropa. Buenos recuerdos! Buena música. Disfruto mucho tus videos.

@@ricardopr54 I lived 5 years in New Mexico and I was told they have flamboyan in Mexico. I planted a tree from my mom's tree seeds and it grew in a pot like 2 feet. I gave it to a friend there in Mew Mexico wishing that he take good care of it.

I was waiting to go inside your grandmother's house. To me the house reminds me of the 1960s when I lived in Mayaguez. The perfect song for the vlog. I drank that milk as a kid. Actually when no one was around. I take a spoon and eat it out the can. Lol to me it tasted better that way. Lol I would not drink it now. Thanks for the memories!! Enjoy your weekend. Jenny, this particular house definitely should get a restoration. Just replace the wood that needs replacing and maybe a slight upgrade inside. I didn't go in because I had already recorded inside about a year ago, I think. The song is a Mother's Day song my father wrote for his mom. Perfect for this weekend. About Klim, many people have said the same. They would eat it straight out of the can. Yes, it will rain all day tomorrow.

I was actually born in 1958 in Brooklyn and my family returned to the island when I was a few months old. I remember my summers until I was about 10, climbing mango & tamarind trees. It took me a couple of decades to escape NY/NJ. Attended Rutgers and I was out of there. Now in Boca Raton, FL. I really wish I could go back to PR for weeks visit at a time. Please keep sharing your videos.

Yuki BabaYaga Estados Unidos es un mundo hay muchas ciudades y las hay más tranquilas de PR me parece que te basas en un solo lugar y no has viajado por los Estados , pero no voy a seguir exponiendo mi opinión pues todos tenemos experiencias diferentes bendigo a Estados Unidos y bendigo a Puerto Rico pero por causas muy personales me conviene estar acá , la familia es primero y económicamente no tengo problemas somos profesionales en ambos lugares tuvimos trabajo pero nuestro lugar es acá ahora

Yuki BabaYaga son las experiencias las que te tienen así yo no e sido víctima de discrimen y mi hijo con condiciones especiales acá le va de maravilla , hay razones que pesan por nuestros hijos , saludos y añoro mi isla , no descarto que cuando mis hijos se independicen vuelva , pero a ver si me acostumbro pq pasaron años , la escuela en PR nunca le dio a mis hijos los que necesitan acá si y es una gran diferencia pero cada quien tiene diferentes experiencias saludos

Beautiful. Oh my goodness when you said the gandules tree grow 1 1/2' I couldn't believe it. I planted the gandules seed here in AZ and had to chop it down because it was as high as 6' and loaded with gandules. Beautiful video of my island. God bless you.

Wilda, saludos. Regular gandule plants do grow very tall. But there is one species which is very short and I am trying to find them to plant at home in Jersey.

Great intro. Waking up to the sound of gallos and sleeping to the sound of coqui que rico!!! Did you dig up the ñame. Love the house!!! The mirror gives a great video effect.it would be interesting to check the architecture of the house how it was built. Love to see the richness of the Isla.The mother song is so beautiful!! Leche klim haven't taste it, wasn't this the milk they gave in school cafeterias there?. Your sister's face when you ask her what's a frappe 🤣🤣.

Those gallos start crowing at 5 am. But they really don't bother me. We went to see my cousin to dig up some ñames, but he was injured two days prior, and couldn't do it. Next time. I was really looking forward to getting my hands dirty. Yes, the song is a Mother's Day song my father wrote for my grandmother. It fits in here nicely considering what day is tomorrow. Yes, my sister's face. I should have zoomed in a little. Lol. BTW, Happy Mother's Day Yolanda!

Wow! Thanks for a quick, but reminiscent trip down memory lane. That song reminded me of my grandmother. Left PR for NYC when I was 5 in 1963 and only returned for summers, holidays and burials. I now wish we had not left. Oh well...pros and cons. Thank you for sharing. This is the first of your videos I have watched. Just subscribed. 👍 ❤ 🇵🇷

Thank you Carol. The year you arrived NYC I was being born just across the river in Newark. But I had the opportunity to live on the island for about seven and a half years as a kid. The best years ever.
