Music in memory of the deceased balalaika players who made a huge contribution to the development of academic music for the balalaika.

Franz Stanislavovich Paserbsky (1830-1904) and Nikolai Petrovich Fomin (1864-1943) also participated in the creation of the Balalaika family. It was Paserbsky who created a kind of prima balalaika (piccolo, alto, tenor, bass, double bass).

I have been playing balalaika for 40 years now. This is personally a special post for me. Lots of meaning. Most of these artists are what we listened to over the years. Feoktistov, Roshkov, Nechoporenko are names on LPs that I have in my collection. Troyanovsky is one I do not have. He had an interesting playing style - all double pizzicato. Other names I have heard of, but have no recordings. To the balalaika students/enthusiasts out there, Nechoporenko came to a Balalaika and Domra Association of America convention years ago. On KZfaq there are videos of Master Class balalalika that he did. The "old timers" recordings of Russian music from this time have a peculiar character. Probably the Great Patriotic War and the legacy of that time during Soviet Russia. Understanding what Russian People went through during this time and the effect it still has generations later gives an understanding of the character of the music and how it reflects the soul of this people. This is a treasure, thank you for posting.

*Necheporenko *Rozhkov I’m lucky and I’ve met Necheporenko once Also A.Gorbachev was one of jury members of one of the competitions in which I took part and he decided to give me a privat tremolo-vibrato lesson(cause I had some problems with that technique) after comp ended That was something)

На этом акцент. Конечно я мог исправить зву в известных программах по типу Fl studio. Но мне хотелось не редактировать историю. Вот какая она есть такой мы её и любим. Без фильтров, редактирований и искажений. Звук тех времён когда не было хороших записывающих устройств.
