I had to put my 30 yr old mare to sleep several years ago and have never gotten another horse since then. It's just too painful. Give yourselves time and things will improve. Thank you for giving animals such a good home.

She doesn’t mean crying in public she means crying on KZfaq/social media. There’s a huge difference and since I understand the conversations she had about KZfaq moms (also of narcissists in that space) and crying for the camera/online views is a real thing in that area. I love that she quickly said that. I also love that she was vulnerable, I also appreciate her saying that and jumping forward when she cried. I share those same feelings about crying on social media.

My aunt passed at 53 of cancer and kidney failure, she was given a little over a week to live, but had been in the hospital for a very long period of time and absolutely adored the staff there (and they adored her), so she chose to remain there for her final days. She wasn’t a Christian before that point of imminent death, but called upon the hospital Chaplin, whom she formed a beautiful friendship with, and ended up accepting Jesus into her heart fully. After that, amazing things happened. One of those things, was that her two beloved dogs (she never married or had children, so they were her world), who had passed away a few years prior, appeared before her in her hospital room, visiting her and bringing her comfort and peace (she was FULLY lucid, awake and aware of herself and her surroundings up until her last breath, so this wasn’t some hallucination) with her knowing in her heart after seeing them that they would be there to welcome her into Heaven. Just one or two days after they visited her, she passed away. That experience has always stuck with me and given me great hope that we will see our pets in Heaven. From my point of view, God felt that when He created this beautiful world, that animals were necessary. He had to have felt that this world was incomplete without them, so why wouldn’t Heaven be incomplete without them as well, given that Heaven is supposed to be all of the beauty this world has to offer (and then some) without any of the bad? Anyone who has loved a pet deeply knows that they too have beautiful meaningful souls dwelling inside them. Why should their souls be the exception? Knowing my aunts experience, I just cannot see a Heaven without the beauty that animals bring to this world, especially our own beloved pets. To me, her experience (and many others who have experienced the same) is proof that human souls are not the only souls dwelling within the gates of Heaven, and that should bring any current or previous beloved pet owner comfort that our goodbyes are not final.

@@BhappyD wow. Thank you for that testimony. I have run a rescue for mainly dogs and cats, so i have had numerous critters. A lot i adopted out but many have stayed. I agree with what you said about Heaven. I always hoped for my critter friends to be there, too. Im gonna get bum rushed! Your Aunts story gives my hopes a good boost. Thankyou for sharing that.

My son sees spirit so there is definitely somewhere else. When my Dad passed away my son was 8 at the time and he came to me and said “ mummy we are energy in a skin suit and then when the skin suit breaks the energy is still there, because you can never kill energy “ I thought that was a great way for an 8 year old to describe it. My son has seen my Dad, he came to visit us 3 times so in my opinion heaven is real a million percent.
