Dunno if you know this. But the Blue Spotted Jaw fish supposedly needs to be in colder water like 21 degrees. Maybe the water was too warm and that's why he moved from burrow to burrow. I had one before for about 1.5 years until he killed himself, and kept my temperature at 22-23 degrees which slowed the growth of my corals.

Thank you, I know that they need cooler water, however never heard 21 degrees. I will not try this fish again without a chiller😭

They don't do well in reef tanks. If you are going to keep them you need to lower you temp to 76 or 77 degrees

blue spot jawfish live in cooler waters, so long term survival is low.
