I fell very glad to enlighten my horizon and to understand the reality.

I love listening to messages from Saddleback, and this one is almost perfect. The first part of this message talks about pride with Nebuchadnezzar and his "I, I, I" theme. Then the message talks about serving, and pastor Rick's sacrifices, tithing, and giving once he's become a famous author. While I appreciate the overall "give, give, give," the half way point of this message uncharacteristically comes across as a boastfully "me, me, me" theme. It's always tough to preach about how to give selflessly and use examples of what you are doing (because it's hard to tell people to do something if you don't explain how you're doing it), and there's a fine line to it. As many of these as I've listened to, and yes, I know where his heart is, some parts were hard to get through without thinking about the theme "pride." Even so, I love to hear these messages so my relationship with God can grow, and the overarching message is the same... put your pride away, and open your heart to receive the Glory of God. Thank you, Saddleback.

It sounds like only believers are humbled while the wicked just carry on with their egotistical behaviour damaging others . It does not make sense to me .

Tired of the tests because he already knows how I am going to react, I fail them on purpose now. He either knows me or he doesnt. I was his humble servant and then one day...SNAPOLA!! If you abuse something for long enough, you're going to BREAK it. Surely even GOD knows that, unless of course this is some sick twisted game on his part.

That's in those days. What about alll the drugs dealers, scammers, frauds wheelers, money laundering, celebrity's politicians/PM, presidents of the world some of whom display arrogant, mean and doing bad things but flity rich living of the fat of the land, can do what they like,...Do God take things away from them? Bcuz i see a lot of people around who have loads n loads of material wealth , money, happiness, power and they are NOT suffering. But small average people who have nothing and trying to make ends meet every day seem to bear the suffering. Its like you cant get to your season of abundances for the storms. And when you think 2019 is it because 3 years prior its been hard as hell losing your business no fault of your own even went you have help people and not worked in 2 years. To come into 2019 thinking this my season to claim what the devil stole from me 3 yrs ago...And bam! 2019 is harder and painful like I cant breathe because all pressure on me. I really do not know whats up. Is God doing something different for different groups of people???. I am still trying to understand this thing call life. I have a good heart n have helped alot people including my family and even had to put my life on hold, payed out monies I save to jump start my life n home in 2019, have mortgage and monthly bills with no other family insight to assist. Just me one. I could not bear to see my mom n sister go through this suffering alone and it now my suffering too and I am drained and money all gone and still fighting and on this journey. I have prayed religiously, cried, sometimes even frustrated as to why I have to go through it. I realized I cant fight it the universe is profound and it is what it is. I am not saying this becus I am complaining or not grateful I love my family. I am just trying to understand and know God more as to reason for doing these things so if anyone were to ask me I can have a answer to share. some people go thur hell and back and others seem to breeze thur life without a scratch. I come to realize it must be was in the plan before we was born some are lucky and others are not. Life is hard and God knows its not easy to be happy everyday. BUT, as it is said, each time I read a scripture or hear a pastor preach. Smile and give God the glory through it all.

Look at the failed companies and billionaires in the world

you dont need to volunteer on a peace plan. if you are sincere, just let me know anyway you want and and stay with me for a month and I will take you to meet poverty up close and personal at no charge. No manoevring is involved and I will take you to see it as it is.

I read the KJV Bible, and study the Bible, and if you have a KJV Bible read it and you will see this guy is fake, I have to laugh when I listen to him. The King James Bible has been around for just about as long life itself, Please read the King James Bible and may God bless you
