Fun fact. Sade never actually wanted to be a singer. She started singing as a last resort to pay the bills. Crazy right? Couldn’t imagine music without her.

Fun Fact! Aaliyah said in an old interview that Sade is her idol. She loved how strong her voice was without oversinging - all while being cool, calm, and collected.

Her name is “FOLASADE” , Sade is the short version. it is a fairly common Nigerian name as her dad is Nigerian. However, the group was also named Sade as well.

Yes. Her name is Helen FolaSADE Adu. She’s lead singer of the group by the same name but she also goes by simply Sade.

I said it on your first Sade reaction "Every song you react to from her is gonna be your favorite" lol and then this woman had the nerve to go on a hiatus for 10 years, come back in 2010 and drop "soldier of love" which is also one of my favorite songs and videos
