In Isha Yoga, there is no weekend..
- living for the weekend
-one who suffers the week and lives for the weekend it's a very miserly life
-a whole lot of people are doing things which don't mean a damn to them - they're just doing it because it's a way of earning a living

Hello From Golkabrindavan. I am sure Sadguru meant miserable life in stead of miserly life. Miserly do not look for weekends and spend money. They rather make more money. For a truly realized one, each moment is same. That one remains steady and equipoised in dualities. Is Friday Yet, does not cut and leaves a big void!

@@vasukinagabhushan my question was directed to sadhguru, but thanks for the interest in it. When it comes to the unbelievers or other beings that has passed on way before christ came to redeem them, it says in prophecy that all mankind will come to know him and those who do not believe in him along with those who existed before christ will have a chance to know him and I believe this will happen after the rapture of the believers. I believe there are 7 years during the armageddon period the people will have a chance to believe him or not, including all the dead, they would be risen up and be judge justly. The last 3.5 years during the 7 years I believe people will either believe the anti christ or turn to God. These are horrible times for everyone. Please don't quote me on these. If you see an error I made, please correct me. My uncle told me all these things when I was young, so, I am just telling you from memories.

I don`t agree ! in reality earning a living is extremely difficult nowadays, you need to eat everyday and food is one of the most expensive things ,if you don`t have income coming in how are you going to survive ? going into the jungle is not for modern human beings we are not cavemen anymore. Where I live in the United Kingdom there are no jungles so how am I going to survive unless I become a beggar ? so to me this idea of telling people not to worry about earning a living is dangerous in another videos I heard him saying that any living creature earns a living even a worm earns a living why should a human being with a big brain worry about earning a living, well animals are different most of the food they need to survive they find it in nature and they don`t need to worry about housing but human beings to get food they need to get it from supermarkets and you need to have money to pay for it you also need money to rent a place for you to live in so you need to get a job in other words you need to earn a living so I like Sadhguru I enjoy watching his videos and I must say that I have learned a lot from his teachings but this concept of not worrying about earning a living I find it stupid and dangerous.

What he means is to do jobs that are you are passionate about, so that every moment you are 'living', and not just living just on weekends. People generally take up jobs they don't like due to the pressures of surviving/family/society..etc, and postpone 'living' to the weekends. He doesn't recommend going to the forest, but recalls that his long motorcycle journeys and practice of staying in deep forests for long periods of time at a young age had instilled in him a belief that he could survive in whatever situation he would encounter. Most of us live a life of constant fear, taking jobs we hate etc due to the fear that we would not survive in other conditions. If this fear was absent, we would only do jobs we love, prosper and have much better lives. This is one main thing he wished to convey

If each wants to be like sadguru then how about people as doctors, engineers, etc. who are needed for the world to move?, how does sadguru expect the world to move? Well he chose a line to preach which is good and lucrative to him in terms of good life, foreign tours etc., I feel his talks are merely to listen and not to emulate

You are just getting it from your dissilusioned perspective. If one chooses to be a doctor or engineer he surely is conscious of the amount of work, dedication and ina way luck that is needed for that. I know rich people that are miserable and people that do the worst jobs, mantain a family and still smile all the time, are relaxed,know how to deal with problem.

@@asmodeus9075 It is not dissilusion but the practicality involved. I still say Sadguru chose the line and he is happy. How do u expect the world to move if the world has sadgurus and sadgurus only. Nature has given 5 different fingers in our had and one is able to do all jobs. In the same way you need different profession for the world to move

Sadguru is not asking anyone to be like him, moreover world was moving without doctors & engineers, this addiction is dangerous, its just a profession like any other. The crux here is "Irrespective of whether you are a doctor or engineer, live life with passion and involvement in whatever we do" otherwise we feel the weight. So earning for living should not be a question to be asked, how to live fully/completely is the question... How to increase the capability is the question to be asked..
