Everything we do does have consequences so we should also reduce the energy we use and find out and agree together the minimum energy we need to be relatively confortable. I recommend the lecture of the book “L’âge des Low Tech” by Philippe Bihouix (sorry it only exists in French at the moment)

Sadhguru's Presence, his simplicity, depth and utter clarity and the constructive information he shares, is confirming so many intuitions I had in my life. Just a month that I know him and the whole inside is expanding like I always knew and hoped it should be possible. We humans are polluting this planet close to a point of no return, literally destroying all the forests and waging wars to no end. The way Sadhguru presents our connection with this wonderful paradise we live in, leaves me speechless and full of gratitude. I'm surprised that Larry could not resist the temptation to mention, those he calls "climate deniers", (who in fact care more about the planet than he, Larry, is willing to accept!!) who in fact simply say that the warming is caused by the sun, as it has been since the beginning of time, engaged people who are denied a respectful consideration they deserve. In the presence of Sadhguru's profound respect for human diversity this is at least strange.

Excellent talk! It's always a pleasure to listen to Sadhguru but hearing him talk about the most critical existential issues of the day adds another perspective. Talking about the longevity in humans today due to improvements in technology (medicine), I agree that there are more octogenarians today than ever before. On the other hand, the concurrent rise of lifestyle diseases is either reducing the quality of life or life expectancy itself. Ailments like hypertension, diabetes, heart attacks, hypo/hyper thyroid, cancer etc were rare in the past.

That is what WE INDIANS HAVE BEEN DOING ALL ALONG but been not only the but of ridicule, but also in the cross hair for being exterminated. Now that I have moved to USA, I am still ridiculed. The people mocked me for being FOOLISH for buying a PRIUS in 2005 when the gas prices were low, & working 4 daya a week double shifts instead of going to work daily, 55 miles 1 way, for turning off the lights when I need them & where need them, for NOT USING the AC set at 65F when the temperature outside is 72F & using a comforter because then we are cold. The AC in my home is set to turn on when the temperature inside i 80F & turn off once it is 76F. I drink ONLY WATER FRO THE FAUCET, carry my own bottle with me & refill it, NO BOTTLED DRINKS, WATER, processed foods for me... NOT FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY.

Thank you Sadhguru for the information. I needed it and you provided it just when I needed it. I have transcended! what a feeling I have knowing my place and being able to control my mindfulness, and letting go of my bad habits of trying to make the universe work for me. instead it works with me. i have realigned with the universe. I see clearer than ever. I could only describe how I feel in English and this is not the way to describe anything of this magnitude. The universe doesnt understand language as we know it, its something else. I meditate and pray in english. i know what i mean to say and how i feel. Suppose i spoke a language only 5 other people spoke. And we understood all other languages. just couldnt think or speak in them. my belief is the universe knows me and what im thinking before the thought turns it into my language causing my brain to recognize it. every other thing i have done has an end. Yoga and my experience here are the only things that will never plateau. there is just so much beauty and information to take in. So much i wanted to write.Mostly thank you for being my stepping stone. I am off now to discover what happens in the silence, and what happens when i communicate to the universe in a language or something only the universe knows. I know its because we have done this before.

Sadhguru is most person of the of Sub continent, yet not all Indians and Pakistanis know him because he does not speak in important Indian languages. In my opinion, his videos should be dubbed in Hindi and other languages as south Indian movie makers do. This way his message will reach to millions of people.
