Karma cannot be broken. It is not a thing, it is the law of cause and effect and there is no escape for anyone, even a Buddha on his last birth.

False, it can be , problem is the moment you complete escape from Karmic cycles or karma is also the very moment of death and enlightenment. If someone has worked on his energies like yogis, they can continue to live on in their body .

@@niteeshkatiyar391 - No, it cannot be broken, it must be exhausted and no more karmic fuel must be created. There is no way to break causal chain. Not even gods are exempt from the causal chain/causality itself. Even the great disciple Maudgalyāyana who was known for his mastery of supernormal powers could not escape his last karmic reflex AFTER he attained Nirvana with Residue in his mortal life. He was killed violently by persons hired by the Jains due to creating jealousy in them from displaying his mastery of supernormal powers. On the day of and moment of his murder, he suddenly found that he no longer could perform any supernormal feats and thus knew he could not longer escape using them and accepted his death. Once dead, he attained Parinirvana because he did not produce any more changed karmic actions besides the jealousy he created. Thus he was never reborn in any state since, just like the Buddha Gotama and all other arhants.
