Tons and tons of housing blocks have gone up over the years in London, they told us that there was 7-8 million residing in London in the 70’s-80’s and they’re still giving out those same numbers even with all the extra people living there. The sewers and infrastructure was built in the Victorian times for a fraction of who live there now so it’s no wonder it’s struggling as all that water from those high rises and sewerage has go somewhere and has none.

We have to save our resources so that they can be spent almost entirely on DEI and welcoming anyone to our shores who despises us racially and openly. At least Europe is turning to the right but Britain, in its beloved spineless stupidity, has turned to the left. Now we are just beginning to get what we voted for, or failed to vote agains, Britain is sobbing and blubbing away over the consequences of it’s own self-loathing and obsession with low-towing to anyone who hates us. What is quite amazing is to see is the apologetic attitude of a once great nation that modernised the entire planet now whining and bellyaching about the pathetic consequences of it’s own weakness. Expecting this to suddenly repair only reflects the reality that the indigenous British population is incapable of standing up and dealing with these issues. Still, at least the last to generations will go into history as the most treacherous and truly pathetic, ever documented.

Legally the pension is now called a contributory benefit - so it's based on contributions, just like a private pension scheme. It is definitely not a benefit in the traditional sense of the word, but the government moved it into the DWP to manage it, being a totally tactical move on their part, to push the idea that ppl do not deserve it etc etc.

What this country needs is a leader that grew up on a council estate, that grafted, that scrimped to put food on the table, someone who would be kept down by the political elite. Someone from a council estate could the country out in a week. Normal working people over the political elite. Unless you’ve been to Eton or Cambridge you won’t stand a chance of running the country. The problem is with that, is someone who grew up in a council estate and didn't study politics at Eton or such like, doesn't know the ins and outs of economics to be able to manage an entire economy. It's a great idea, and I agree we need some grounded working class people in government, but unfortunately there needs to be these educated economic experts in place to ensure whatever gets suggested and implemented gets done so without detriment to other policies/services

My husband worked from age of 15. The cost of ULEZ, parking permits, LTN’s, not being able to afford thousands for a new vehicles, cycle lanes bottlenecking traffic etc was ruining our business along with many other local businesses. Well I've got nearly a full pension but I only payed around 6 months national insurance in any one year, all you actually need to pay is 3 months stamp. You need to understand if you don't get a good pension you can ask for pension credit which they don't want you to do, so generally they just give you nearly the full pension anyway ? Go figure

I am 2 *years* post spinal surgery, where I was left unable to walk. I am still waiting for a wheelchair. My husband is a veteran, we barely had the money to raise our children on his ft amd my pt job, we have paid tax, he laid his life on the line. Yet here we are, in a house the council wont help convert, we have spent his entire pension on making our home accesible, we have run out of money, the council are charging us to change the front door to open out (so I can leave my house) in THEIR property, that we pay rent on and have spent 50k adapting. Yet they have money to burn on so much BS! I'm done. I'm exhausted. I really don't have much fight left. 🇬🇧
