After listening this interview I am not absolutely sure that Naseeruddin Shah is a symbol of frustration. He thinks no one is above him. Alas!

Interviewer negligence can really be shown He wasn't really interested in hearing the answers rather than putting back to back question without even letting him to compete his ans Very unprofessional way to interview

He lives in his own cocoon..he wanted to be Bachchan or a dilip kumar, but couldn't so condemns them but his own movies are awful..dil toh bachcha hai jee and others

Mr shah u have said Amitabh Bachchan never produced a great choice of movies which i condemn and strongly disagree. If u won't consider Black, Deewar, Saudagar, Agneepath, Paa, CheeniKum, Dev, Khakee, Trishul, Shakti, Abhimaan, Chupke Chupke, Mili, Namak Haram, Anand, Sarkar, Mai Azad Hoon, Sholey as a Great movies there is something seriously wrong with ur choices or u lack appetite for good movies. Neways Shah is a pseudo intellect who wants certain brand of movies and consider those actors in a great category who performs well in those movies. No grudge against him but Amitabh Bachchan is way ahead of him in any category..

Well you missed the point here....amitabh has made very good movies but not great.When you think of RAJ KAPOOR a AWARA comes to mind,Mughal e Azam in case of Dilip Kumar and guide in case of Dev anand.But in case of amitabh bachhan there is not an all time great movie.Deewar Sholay are good but not great.Meanwhile Anand is Rajesh khanna's movie and amitabh was a supporting actor in that.Whenever you think of Anand you think of Rajesh khanna and not Amitabh

@@vikashkalyan108 how about black, it's better than any of the movie u mentioned above. It's real and not melodramatic, also when we think of Deewar and Namak Haram they r equally good. I think u have not seen Mai Azaad Hoon though it was copy of meet John do still Amitabh performance and execution of movie itself was great. Watch Saudagar u will be mesmerized by the story and the performance, is not it a Great movie. Now u cannot put urself in two boats. Either u have to say Aakrosh a great movie or mughle Azam, if u say Aakrosh amitabh's saudagar and mai azaad hoon r equally good and if u say Mughle Azaam u have to qualify even sholay. Seems like u r only celebrating successful movies. Yes Barshat and specially guide r great movies but mughle Azaam no way, it's grand for its time and Prithviraj Kapoor highlights with his towering persona of Akbar Badshah but its not a class. Jodha akbar is more fascinating I found actually. Well u have to see Amitabh in Agneepath or in Dev or Trishul if u just want to see his performance but yes in a movie as a whole they r not the greatest. Well calling Amitabh not a great actor is really insulting which no genuine person can take it. Amitabh by virtue is the greatest actor hindi cinema has ever seen.

@@rajshakya7021 no way black can be mentioned with these gems. Talking about deewar and namak haram you need to understand the difference between an all time great and a very good movie. No one will ever mention namak haram,deewar in all time greats let alone mentioning black

@@vikashkalyan108 I think u n I belongs to different school of art. For me Godfather 1 and 2, waterfront, krammar vs krammer, rain man, taxi driver r great movies but seven, pulp fiction, usual suspects, fight club, casablanca r no less. For me black is the hindi movie of the millennium. Real by execution, performance and story without being overtly melodramatic...
