When you realize that 2nd verse is Tyler's dedication to MF DOOM and his impeccable cadence! 🤯 RIP DOOM
@jirehjirehjirehjireh2 жыл бұрын
Bro why you bring this up, I got a tear in my eye now. DOOM was such a core influence for him, Earl, and OF in general. And when you look at how OF went to influence and inspire really the entire hip hop landscape it’s aw inspiring to remember all of this sprouted from the seed MF DOOM laid.

@@cryosphere1130 his 2nd verse is in DOOM's style. MF DOOM had a very unique way of rapping and would even self censor (hence the "how long he eat the...wait a minute"). Tyler is utilizing that style all throughout that 2nd verse. He didn't rap like that on the album at all until that part.
@YaBoiDoi Жыл бұрын
@@cryosphere1130 and to add to it tyler and earl sweatshirt met MF DOOM a long time ago. Its why tyler is such a good rapper. Hes taken alot of influence from doom. such as 2:23 where he stops his flow and changes the rap scheme, something DOOM was infamous for.
