Wow the lioness backed off the kill as soon as the big male approached! But the male is allowed the cubs to keep on feeding!

Those cubs are lil scrappers. The cub facing off with the male lion is downright scary already!

Ill tell ya what, any male Styx cubs that make it will be a force to be wreckin with. They have rough lives in comparison to NKUHUMAS

Unfotrunatelly all of these cubs are dead due to mange about a year ago. 9 cubs if I remember correctly...very sad times for Styx pride. They have new cubs now.

@@mojnemeyes I just found that out also. How sad, these ones seemed to be tough little guys & gals. They would’ve made for great adult kings & queens. If I’m correct, the newest litter lived, despite having mange also.

Correction 3 still alive. Just had it confirmed today. Fingers crossed those 3 survive at least. :(

Oh sure they behave like little angels when dad is around but as soon as he leaves and mom returns they start acting like little devils again. Typical in all species.
