10x12 weighs under 4 lbs. But the 11x14 weighs a little over 5 lbs.

@ghostringtactical Do you know what I figured out? I was going over my plate carrier and noticed on the inside where the full plate goes to protect the rear, Inside there is an insert for another plate. On the front of the plate carrier there is a velcro pouch, but on the rear plate carrier that same pouch is on the inside. You have to remove the plate to locate the insert slot plate holder.
