Quick question about this carrier, I may be getting this one for my new department and I won’t be allowed to have the Molle one so I’m going with the one you’re using here with the pockets up front. Will those pocket slits hold an AR magazine in them without putting too much stress on the material? And will the mag be secure in there for duty use? Thanks for the reply

I don't have a safelite vest, I'm issued a armor express exterior vest for work. I'm running into the issue of the back part of the vest pushing down on my duty belt, I've brought the shoulder straps in as much as they go. Any ideas how to fix that? Thanks in advance.

The pockets on these are extremely tiny. Had to cut my notepad in half for it to fit. Biggest issue, I ordered the (midnight blue) I'm having trouble finding a color match on the uniform under shirt. Dark Navy from Blauer is off on colors sent it back and got the (Navy) it is not even somewhat close. Has anyone found a uniform shirt that matches?

Just got mine today, super comfortable and good looking. Im 5'6 160 so I got a small short ... say goodbye to my breast pockets, they're so small I can't even put a pen in them without one inch of it sticking out the top. Pen style cuff key barely fits. Hidden pocket fits my notepad but it's pretty tight. Two extra bottom pockets are so tight they're pretty much only good for latex gloves. Mic/body cam holder would fit if they didn't sew it down with zero slack ... useless. The navy blue is a lot lighter than the standard navy blue here in the salt lake city area. Pretty adjustable which is good. The larger sizes may be different but as far as my size ... pockets are pretty much too small for anything. If your looking for just a carrier, I would recommend looking for something else.

I don't know of a vest that can get rid of the excess heat, but I would rather be hot than shot. What I tell my peers is to turn the vest inside out when you're not wearing it so it can really dry a lot better.

I just got mine it fits and feels great but it has a drawback I just discovered , it will not fit a standard size note pad in the pockets. It does have a very small concealed document pouch that fits inside the chest of the shirt.
