I would almost think it be just as much of not cheaper to just pour some concrete walls, they're pretty bulletproof

and won't cut with a cordless sawzall if a jigsaw can cut it a sawzall will cut it like a hot knife through butter

Don't need to shoot through the walls, just use the same construction tools they used to build the room to cut your way back in... Lot of work went into the construction, and we can probably breach it with a hydraulic set of jaws of life, and a grinder.

A sledge hammer and crowbar would get in there no problem, especially through the ceiling

I'm actually quite shocked at the construction of this room. The whole 'package' is bonded to a wooden frame, somehow afixed to the floor and walls. Seriously?

With a battery saw zaw cut top and bottom plate fasteners. And wall will just come down would not matter if steel was 6 inches thick

What material used as grinder resistant layer?

should of built this room out of AR500 steel. the composite soft armor will go bad over time & high temp.

Safe this room is not. 12 inch thick walls of alternating hard and mild steel plates inside a 2 foot thick steel reinforced poured structural concrete cube with only a small air whole, with the proper filter, I recommend one rated to filter even highly irradiated air, and a door way with a door rated to handle a 30 megaton blast. Then and only then will you have a minimum level of security.

Curious what type of round this is made to stop? 9mm? 45 ? 44 mag?

We offer BR protection ranging from 9mm handguns through to 357 & 44 Magnum and shotgun protection

So folks, for those in the comments talking about the deficiencies here....I could be wrong, but when I did a google search, they are located in the UK. I think that says enough. I worked with a guy who could tow a manufactured home or a trailer with an earth mover with his Chevy truck. Certainly not "stock"....super high performance but could pull almost anything. One hook in that wall where he can pull with his truck, that whole things is coming out. Certainly a good way for criminals to learn how to get around these features though! I mean, drilling into the concrete floor and lagging the steel walls down somehow might have been a great touch, but I get the economical aspect. That safe room will definitely keep you safe from migrants!

Saferoom to prevent common criminals sure. Wouldnt do the job repelling professionals though.

I think that's the point, though. If you have robbers come in, who don't know it's there, you're gonna be protected against them; they'll make off soon enough when they realise you're in there with the ability to call the police. If you're someone who expects organised criminals, you're gonna go for a completely different type of room.

Hi Joshua, the frame is finished in wood to fit in to a residential setting but the timber facades actually conceals a 70mm steal frame section, hope this clarifies your point

Would have liked to have heard some one talk about your build and product. But one thing...as much as this room looks "secure"...what comes to mind immediately for me is...if the thieves can see the safe door then all this work is rather pointless. If they can't break in...usually won't be carrying the right tools...they will simply wait for the home owner to return. Take a family member hostage...or two or all but one...force the home owner to open the safe room. :) If they are so intent on getting inside...maybe assume the home owner has things SUPER valuable...enough to build a "safe room". Need to be able to hide the safe door from sight.

Henleys Security Doors are enclosed in timber with a steel core therefore it would not be apparent to anyone that it is a security door. Yes, there are instances where family members can be held hostage in an attempt to gain access, although I would hope this type of high profile individual would have Close Protection and other important security measures in place.

Steel and concrete would be better than relying on a pine frame. Also the ceiling looks so weak.

Hi Robert, yes that’s correct, it’s rated to FB4 which will stop a 9mm handgun, 357 & 44 magnum. We can offer protection against a 762 but this is rarely required in a a residential setting, thank you for your comment

Seems kind of pointless to make a safe room in a place with a window. Not to sound like an insane person but I bet the occupants would open the doors real fast if a few flaming bricks came in to say "hi". Do you try to avoid building in rooms with windows? If not, or the client insists, are the windows protected/concealed somehow?

this isnt the USA this is the UK. US safe rooms are almost always block or poured concrete.
