Babies can suffocate by sleeping with adults or other children. Even blankets, bumpers, and stuffed animals can be dangerous. Always remember the ABC’s of Safe Sleep. Babies sleep safest when they are Alone, on their Back, in a Crib.

No; there is no need, and it increases the risk of SIDS.

Absolutely not. I’m a paramedic and had a call where a baby was sleeping with a pillow and suffocated. Saddest thing for the family

Any one just tell me sleeping in tummy is good or bad because my baby is 4momths old he loves sleeping on his tummy, i will always be with him i he feel irritate i will jst flop to back n my baby got habituated is it safe or not plz let me know

A floor bed (mattress on the floor) is popular in the Montessori community. You (or whoever is looking for an answer to this) can look into it. The point they're making here is that the infant should be in a firm bed where they're safe from somebody/a pet rolling over onto them. Our mattresses are very soft, which increases the risk of SIDS; they need a firm mattress.
