If I recall correctly, bailing hooks like the one you found were used in pairs, one in each hand, to pick up and move bails of hay/straw, etc. Great finds all around, folks!!

That pistol is a great find, but on looking at the base of the grip closer you can clearly see it's marked ' MADE IN W GERMANY ', so sadly not a war era German weapon, but that's still a minor point, was it a real gun anyway ?, great video.

Hi..si finds found the same type of pistol..ppk toy from the 50s..if the trigger was on you would have had the real thing..as it dosent rot being walther..Great find either way...atb..

pistol was a reproduction probably an air pistol said made in W. Germany on the bottom of hand grip so after the war was over.

I don't think you read these comments because your still getting stuck on the sides of the canals and rivers were a 4ft 4x2 piece of wood with a v notch in it would make it easy
