Thank you! This worked to get a first clear, though I had to use my own Melissa and borrow a Richt. The friend Richt didn't do enough damage to finish in under 30, much less under 15. But my own Richt is close enough to EX3 that I should be able to just bring my own Melissa along (instead of a friend) and have proper gear on my Richt to get all the missions soon enough! :)

Hey, i dunno what i'm doing wrong, maybe i missed something My abigail seems better geared than your ( more fire and earth res, hp, spr ) i'm doubg the same spell rotation as yours ( magic break, cover, seal ) and for some reason, she just keeps dying at some point ( like, turn 49 was the most she could do ) I use runda lmb every turn I use fohlen lmb regen every turn ( she does have immunity to all ailment, death included ) I dunno what to do cause she keeps dying and it prevent me from finishing him

The death attack is not a good mechanic because most new player don't have death protection. You can simply use re-raise or phoenix, but it limited to the esper gauge and the amount of time needed to raise the entire group again. Limited gear to null death is a problem too. This boss is just as annoying as some bosses that cure themselves more than you can do damage.
