So a few weeks ago, one of you guys tweeted me that I should make food with Bite brand edible lipsticks... and I said, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! So I bought a bunch of Bite lipsticks and chopped them up and then baked them into a funfetti lipstick cake. Chaos ensued. Also once more - please do not try this or my dangerous lipstick chopping technique at home!

I love that Safiya doesn't try to compete with other KZfaqrs like most do, which always turns into drama that they then capitalize on. She's all about building other people up instead of tearing them down for her own gain. She gives credit to the content creators that helped her come up with her ideas during her research, and doesn't pretend to come up with entire ideas on her own, unless it truly is her own idea. In this way, she is a great role model for her viewers, as well as her fellow KZfaqrs. She is proving that you can be wildly successful while still being ethical, and I respect the hell out of her for that.

Freezing the lipstick was a good start! You could also toss the lipstick in flour as you cut it to prevent sticking. Dusting chunky items in flour also prevents sinking during baking.
