When the man who claimed he was there to ask for Alice Roosevelt's hand in marriage was being lead away, First Lady Edith Roosevelt asked if he was insane, to which her husband replied, "Of course he's insane, he wants to marry Alice!"

I appreciate the dutiful and careful work of this public servant to preserve our National Parks and share their stories with us all. It’s sad that instead of supporting this selfless and inspiring work, you’d rather degrade a ranger with misogynistic comments like these.
