for Sage, options like Nebula and Lizard may also combo well as those kind of cards encourage your opponent to play more cards at a certain location, increasing the chance have having different powers at a single location for Sage

Sage is just Wolfsbane with a more complicated trigger and a higher max range. She does have slightly different deck building considerations than Wolfsbane but may not feel that different. I think this card will be good in general but I don't know if it will be necessarily a fun card considering it's counter part is ok and doesn't see that much play either.

got lucky and only used 1 key for sage, but overall for 3 cost card and able to suprise opponent is amazing
