He did approve of the Holosun SCS MOS auto brightness if I remember correctly! Have to say, my new SCS 320 is absolutely phenomenal. Fully enclosed (which is a requirement for me) but quite thin, solar charging and non replaceable lithium ion battery, and great auto brightness and clarity. Optional circle dot as well. They say the battery will last at least 10 years but the Sig rep said conceivably much longer as they never fully charge the battery with the solar so it will last a very long time.

Thanks for another great review! However, unlike Aaron, I broke my RMR HD - but that’s not the end of the story. Long story short, there’s a reason to spend a fair amount on a Reflex sight and Trijicon’s warranty and service department really help add value to the equation. In my case, I’d been using a screwdriver to change the top-replaceable battery, when the screwdriver slipped and broke the small emitter window. I told Trijicon what happened and, after examining my new and broken RMR HD (which, by the way, still “worked”), they offered to replace the broken unit with a new one. I could not ask for more. THIS is why I’ll buy another one when the time comes.

Great review. This is the first video from Sage Dynamics that I have seen, and I like the content. I watch 2nd amendment content almost exclusively and I'm impressed by the production quality of the video and the costs you put into it; 2k rounds of ammo, scuffing up your new RMR, ect. I'm glad that I found your channel and now wonder what I've been missing. Guess I know what I'll be binge watching this weekend... BTW there is a white powdery substance under your right nostril at the 16:43-16:44 mark. I was waiting for you to cut into a slow motion segment (kind of like Kentucky Ballistics doing his "Watermelon Time") with you you making a overly exaggerated effort of wiping off your nose before clearing you sinuses, followed by a super fast paced cardio routine, laps around the range, or burpees, lol. Guess that might not have fit in with the tone of the review, but it definitely played in my ADHD riddled head. I've subscribed, shared and cut on the notification bells. Anyways thanks for the video and keep up the good work!

I recently had the opportunity to see two Glocks at my local gun store that the owners had dropped on hard surfaces, concrete or ceramic tiles. One was a Glock 41 that fell directly on the magazine release button which resulted in a broken part inside. The button either broke or the magazine release button spring, so that the button no longer sits firmly on the pistol frame. The other model was a Glock 19X that was dropped on a lanyard loop that cracked leaving a few millimeters of the round ring missing... My question here is: what guns have you had the chance to see that have been noticeably damaged by being dropped on a hard surface, and do you think metal guns (steel or aluminum) hold up better than those with polymer bodies? Thanks.

@jimmyc72698 ай бұрын
I'm not Aaron but have both. The auto on on the AEMS makes it a no brainer pick over the EXPS for a home defense rifle. You won't remember to turn on the optic after getting waken up in the middle of the night. I'm guessing the EXPS is more durable which might make it a better option for other purposes.

Would putting the battery compartment ahead if the lens solve the problem if over extension above the breach face??
@DeathxThexKid10011 ай бұрын
Not sure if your comment is serious or if it's a meme, but I'll treat it like a legit comment: No, putting the battery forward of the optic in this particular case is not going to solve the problem. And if your having a tough time mentally processing the concept, just imagine the optic glass is where the battery is, and now imagine the battery compartment where the optic hangs off. So not a solution. The real solution is to make sure whoever milled the slide, mills the optic cut further back towards the irons, and not to the front closer to the ejection port.

I hope the next administration can get inflation down and the economy rolling. Then maybe we could get these down into the $550 range, which is the upper limit of my budget for optics. It hurt paying almost as much as my pistol cost (Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS =Blue Label) on the RMR 02 that I currently have. This new one will cost more than a good sale price on a Shadow Systems. It's always been said that you should spend 2-3 times what your bolt gun cost on quality glass, but dang prices on everything are insane now.

Which is a better application for a Glock Model 26 - the RMR HD or the RMR Type 2 ? I very much like the features and larger viewing lens of the new RMR HD, but I am concerned that it is too large in size for the Glock Model 26 application - both concealability (i.e., does it defeat the CCW purpose) and proportionally (does it look proportionally too large for the small size of the Model 26). Has anyone yet mounted a RMR HD on a Glock Model 26 ? Please let me know your thoughts ...
