I left a on & off abusive toxic marriage 4 years ago. I wish I would have done it sooner. Please have a plan & a safe place to go. Do not wait too long. I stood up to my husband after years. It stopped the physical abuse. But the verbal ramped up.

@@susanbattermann8235wow same, 4 years ago almost to the day here! 4 years ago I left the most abusive toxic relationship I ever encountered. Never in my life been happier! It took a lot for me to get to the point of the OP in comments, once you’re not afraid to lose them, and accept they’ll find someone else asap to supply them (which they will) - you’re free and can finally leave for good. My only regret is not pursuing any charges and having him go on to abuse 2 more women, and 2 more children he will abandon (he currently has 5 baby mamas now and 6 kids he does not see).

So on point for me: I am moving out of the city I lived in for 10 years, quitting my job, and starting from scratch in a new state! My partner and I are looking to buy a house - big changes and I have definitely been overwhelmed by them, especially as I am navigating my move and upcoming joblessness. Thank you for your reading. I am going through a break up, but I’ve noticed that through the pain it’s been the biggest motivator I could’ve ever imagined and now things that I been wanting to work on seem almost instinctual to begin doing like working out and pouring into self-care and praying more and strengthening my faith in a way it was a blessing. From yesterdays reading was on point 8 of swords like how u explained it and i did find seeds which i had to open in order to pull out 4 of those 8 of swords. Since i was holding only 4. I think this resonates with me today. As I have to decide an end of a relationship that is secret to begin with and the age difference. It didn't matter when you are younger that 58 and he is 42....getting closer to retirement. So I would never thought that day would come but it does make a difference in life. I have to be realistic, we are not at the same place. It won't be easy. :(

I definitely AM & trying! To remind myself not to fkng care anymore + stand up for myself + my children! I was always too afraid before. Now i dont care if im “wrong” “wrong” is interpreted by the judger. To each his/her own. They keep saying basically red flags etc… 🚩 Its fun because absolutely! Things cant improve it will be the end of a marriage and i keep seeing it happen & they keep saying job opportunities (ill need) when i am not SM successful but also for me to stop procrastinating!! Thats a big one!

I want to … explain this - probably shouldnt bother - in a way people can FEEL & understand but i guess not possible unless ppl have felt it…. Theres a… invisible string / weight o the world / connected to his moves, thoughts feelings - type deal that i started ignoring and within a month or however long (feels very short) once i was practicing it - seems to have broken. Detached. Whatever. And i can def see we have switched places. Its like he got trained by me and i by him & he got ke safe & comfy (idk how!) and i made him question everything & hyper alert! But im telling u talk about being “in” something. Not that i didnt see it i just questioned myself constantly & thot well maybe he DOES mean xyz…. Intent doesnt matter when ure doing harm. More harm than good. But it was like i thot i needed proof / to see it. I keep praying for change.
