@@elishirley6939 Totally different catagories. Can the trx4 sport go 40 mph through sand and bumps? No. Can the xmaxx crawl over rocks as good as the trx4 sport? not all the time. A rock crawler, a monster truck, and a desert racer are totally different and cool in their own ways

I shread my slash through mud all you need is a Jconcepts chassis tray and you are good, I tape it down just to make sure no mud touches the motor and stuff.

@@JohnConnor12 it’s common logic not but them in sand and water because one sand will destroy the motor because it’s so fine and second putting them in water will reck the battery

You guys are weird... I take Traxxas ANYwhere. But, you've got to be willing to fix them when they break, that goes for ripping them through water or sand OR taking them off jumps, or driving fast. It's a hobby, you gotta pay to play... or keep them in the back yard.

@@SuperMarioJosh It's common logic that when you drive in wet or sandy conditions, you need to maintain the car accordingly. Clean/replace bearings as needed and rebuild the motor once a year to be safe and I'm good. Never had any issue with getting batteries wet.

I'm wanting to get this too. My main want in an RC is durability. How strong would you say this is? Relative to say a slash 4x4.

@@John-shreds it’s very durable. I have only broken the cvd shaft going from the gearbox to the front dif bcuz it was plastic but the metal one was only like $10. It’s very strong, the slash is also very strong tho, but with this if you go over a lot of bumps and stuff the shocks don’t come apart like they tend to on the slash. It’s about as durable as the slash, but much heavier

Thank you for keeping up the amazing work and putting your main components in there place "HorizonHobby" with models that are 2 & 3 steps ahead of there best offerings! I'm happy to be a loyal traxxas owner form years past tell the end of time ! ! ! As for the other brand that I once loved "axial" "losi" ext... you sold out to the wrong company and are so far behind the 8 ball you will never catch up sorry boys 2 yours hedging the times is a decade in the RC'n market! 🥃cheers🍻

I love Traxxas! I put the stickers I get from my upgrade parts on my binders for school! Only problem is one sticker had a typo. The sticker should have said, “Velineon extreme brushless power,” but instead said, “Velineon treme brushless power,” you guys forgot the e so I couldn’t put it on my binder. Oh well, hope you see this. Also I have Rustler 2wd with Velineon upgrade and Rustler 4x4 with Velineon brushless upgrade and 3s lipo, and a, EZ-Peak Live fats charger.
