@@GoldenEdgedGreg yea man 2 kids and wife here also. My wife always makes jokes about the Instagram reels that say, show us why you know your husband would never cheat! And then it shows the husband with a coffee table full of Pokemon cards sitting by himself!!!! Hahaha yep that's me! And definitely not ashamed just more or less blown away! Shoot guys we opened the first packs to ever hit American shelves!!!! That's history to me.

I was about to grade all my best pack fresh to binder with sleeves, cards but when I checked them most had whitings and decided to only send, 25 out of over 300

I love seeing awesome cards get graded. It’s almost sorta like opening packs, it’s the hunt for that 10 that adds to the thrill, just like the hunt for that alt art or holo Charizard from pack openings.

Newer returnee to the Pokémon TCG scene in the last 6 months or so. Still haven't sent in any cards to be graded. Really can't find any definitive research on why PSA vs CGC or BGS. Would love a more in depth look at this if anyone knows where to look.

Dude PSA has been tough lately I use my centering tool and my jewelers eye with the black light my last submission out of 29 cards 6 10s 9 9s and the rest 8s they’re very very tough on wotc right now but awesome submission that blastoise is 🔥

Some very very nice cards in this return. Congrats on your blastoise that's huge! The light Arcanine at the end is also one of my favorite illustrations def the best arcanine art. Have a super minty Japanese copy as well i plan to have graded one day soon

My next card I'm getting is the base set Charizard. I actually had the blessing of opening a base set pack and pulling a Charizard when I was about 13 or so. I got rid of $125 holos from the WOTC era along with countless other rares from the WOTC on eBay for about 95 bucks many years ago the day that I sent all of them eBay refunded the guy his money and lo and behold I gave all of those away. So now I'm heartbroken but trying to get that collection back and of course it's costing me 100 times more

I’m wanting to submit 3 of my Special Delivery Charizards, this will be my first submission ever. How does PSA up charging work? Say you submit a card under Economy (Max $999) and you say the card is worth $100 if it got a 9 but it gets a 10 so it’s worth $400. Would that get up charged? Or would they only up charge if it went over the $999 declared value?

Dang is it really that hard to get a 10? I know the card has to be fresh from a pack in perfect condition, and then the centering too. But even after all that, it could still end up a 9. :/
