So I got to the part where you become a Grey Warden and that guy gets stabbed....are we supposed to think that's an...okay thing? Cause that seemed like a villain moment for Duncan. And when I questioned him he was like "He pulled out his sword, I had no choice" but he seemed to be backing away just trying not to die, you had plenty of choice to go to the player character next, why did you have to murder him?

Duncan was obligated to kill him because of the secrecy around the Grey Warden ritual. These are people who think in medieval logic.

@@SaiScribbles Fair enough, I guess. Not sure why something meant to make you immune to taint and sense darkspawn would be secret, especially when it would also be known that it could kill you. But medieval logic is gonna be like that. I'm still into the game, I just think that moment seemed a bit more villainous when you realize that the guy was right in saying they don't tell anyone that the ritual can kill them until there's no going back because they know they'd get less recruits that way. My conclusion is that the Grey Wardens are not unquestionable good guys, I just hope the game acknowledges that.

@@SlyJMan Well we are playing from the perspective of the Wardens in this one. Subsequent games we'll see how people from the outside looking in criticize them.
