"As a guy think it as if you're going out with a guy" obviously not literally he's not gay hahah but metaphorically like your equal. At least you are not discussing about who will cook or who will do the laundry or who will pitch in more time and effort if home requires repair. You can outsource a lot of things which mainly in most marriages people can not and hence they fail. The entire paraphernalia of help or administration system around you speaks a lot about both of you and your families contributions,so no question should be asked about who does what. Just sit back and enjoy each other’s company after all it is a marriage of equals.
