過去に自作サイクロン集じん機やダスト・デピュティーなど色々紹介してきたが、DIY作業部屋に工具を置くと足の踏み場もなくなるほど狭くなったため、コード式の集じん機とサイクロン回収器を撤去。
代わりにサイクロンアタッチメントを装着したマキタやリョービのコードレスクリーナーに延長ホースを接続して木屑を回収するのまき。
本体とサイクロン部を壁に掛けることで邪魔にならないメリットや、電力の高い機械を同時に使用してもブレーカーが落ちないメリットがあるものの、集じん容量が小さくなったため、大量に木屑が発生するルーター・手押しカンナ・自動カンナの回収には使えないデメリットも存在。

(Mini Cyclone Dust Collector DIY)
The corded dust collector and cyclone collector were removed because the DIY workroom was too small.
Instead an extension hose is connected to a cordless cleaner fitted with a cyclone attachment to collect wood chips.
It has the advantage of not getting in the way by hanging the main body and the cyclone on the wall, and the advantage of stopping the breaker even if a high-powered machine is used at the same time, but it also has the disadvantage of not being able to be used for collection of routers and other devices that generate a lot of wood waste because of the smaller dust collection capacity.
