Day one of of the Passage Series regatta in Port Stephens from on board Kookaburra. Kookaburra is a Hanse 40. We raced in Div 3 and came 2nd on handicap. Beautiful day, light winds.

Lovely video of what I saw. I was going to send out the link but the soundtrack is annoying and extremely loud. Why must you do this?

@@bruce_walters I do love the sound of the water lapping against the hull and the wind and chatter much more than piped in music. The video was nice otherwise. Thanks for sharing. ⛵⛵⛵

Hey James. To be honest I do to, but this is mostly shot with an iphone so all you'd hear is the sound of wind hitting the mic. It's also a quick turnaround daily highlights vid, so hasn't had heaps of love. I think next year I'll maybe take a proper mic with a dead cat etc and try and get some clean sound of water, wind, winches, kite popping etc as those sounds are so great. thanks for the feedback. @@jamessandman3708
