Not sure if you are aware Bobby, but you get two types of dolphins in the Med. There is the more common bottle nose dolphin that has appeared in many movies ie Gambit, and then you get the Spanish dolphin. The Spanish dolphin is smaller in size and has a distinct hour glass shape on their sides, that has a slight yellow colour to it. Also very friendly and often found doing bow riding in the waters of Med. Unfortunately due to by-catch by the major fishing trawlers, they too are threatened. Was involved in a research project in the Alboran Sea (part of the Med) off Spain.

One of the most disappointing things about all the temples in Greece is that they've all been picked bare . Anything that was once in them is now in museums . Those drone shots you showed were probably the best view of it

This has been a wonderful series and just watched the Glamping Doodles tour of Athens.

You lucky son of a gun!! Funny how we have similar career paths. Professional pilot for 14 years, had a Catalina 25 for quite a few years and loved it. Life and kids took over and ended up doing administrative work in aviation. Could only dream of doing what you do now. Wish I could do the same but I would be fish chum with the wife if I did. Great young ladies, hope you keep them for your upcoming voyages. Keep taking me places and I will keep watching your adventures.

Hey Bobby, Steph and everyone, love your channel! I would definitely recommend a sailing cat. It doesn’t heel, sails fast and is very spacious per feet of waterline. I’ve been a charterer and owner for about 20 years and love my cat.

I had a little peek on navigares web and the prices to rent a boat are awesome. So so affordable. Probably less than the cost of a family holiday. Just need to know how to use a boat 🤣. Can’t wait to see your new kat!! 👌🏼

You’ve gotten really good use of this boat. Lots of great sailing and ports. There’s a different vibe among this crew too. I think it’s because there are two couples as opposed to singles. Don’t feel the competition among the crew.

I think it was the best boat that Bobby ever captained honestly all others were kind of old crap or cheap versions ( those cheaply made catamarans in some Asia trips were without AC, with crappy engines, etc. This boat was a real deal, new, modern, loaded, and simply beautiful.

I'm not a sailor, but while Cats may be more stable, they are not as attractive as monohulls. in fact, they look kinda strange. However, at 71 years of age, I would prefer the Dark Side!! ;)

I was in Athens 25 years ago and smog was terrible. I wonder if that’s cleared some and visibility is better on the whole? Looks beautiful on the southern tip!

I'll admit that if it wasn't for the history the temple of Poseidon represent, I sort of wish that it had been restored to it's full glory or at least as close we can get to it. Seeing that from the sea must have been a sight that would be hard to believe that it hadn't been built by the gods. Since that isn't likely to happen, it might be good to make up a fully restored 3D VR environment that you could move around in, there are other places too that the same thing could show us how wonderful things the old world actually could make. Some of the places around the world would blow your mind if you could see it in the right light so to say,

When you are docked like that right in a relatively populated area. How do you secure the boat? Seems it’d be easy for anyone to get access to the boat at night while u all are asleep? Hate to be paranoid but just wondering how you handle that situation?

I have seen the real green flash in the Florida Keys. It is "very" bright and I believe it is when all the things align: the sun shine through the water (like light through a prism) and the green flash shoots out to be visible to the human eye..
